Children’s University

We are proud to be  part of the Children’s University, a national scheme for children. The Children’s University is a national organisation offering children aged 5-14 an exciting and innovative programme of high quality learning opportunities outside school hours, with a focus on rewarding participation, raising aspirations and encouraging engagement with learning. Nationally the scheme is for children from the age of 7. All of our extra-curricular clubs have been validated by The Children’s University. Children will be provided with passports and each time they attend an extra-curricular club the time they have spent is logged onto their passport. Once children have taken part in 30 hours they can graduate at a ceremony at the university with a bronze award. Children’s university provide the caps and gowns and costs for registration and passport are covered by the school. After that they can work towards a silver award and a gold each time receiving certificates and taking part in university ceremonies. If you would like your child to register, please contact the school office.
