At Blackheath Primary we strongly value the importance of our children’s health and well-being. A healthy, balanced diet and regular exercise improve children’s potential both inside and outside of school, helping them to grow into confident and happy adults. Healthy eating and exercise boosts brain power and makes them feel happy!

The significance of healthy eating and exercise is not promoted enough. It is important for everyone but especially for children, who are still growing and developing. It should be easy to encourage our children but this isn’t always the case.

The websites listed on our page aim to help both children and parents to learn more about the benefits of a healthy and balanced diet and exercise. With fun tips and ideas, delicious and easy to make recipes to try at home, we hope that encouraging our children to make healthy choices will be easier and more fun!
